Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the MyGames Database or Task Attack mobile applications (the “Apps”) operated by Hot Avocado Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading or using our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.
Use of the Apps
Our Apps are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the Apps or use them in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
MyGames Pro Subscription: MyGames Database offers an optional auto-renewing subscription (“MyGames Pro”) that provides access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price you originally selected.
- Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
- Free Trials: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
In-App Purchases: Some features may be available as one-time in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions.
Refunds: All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support directly.
Third-Party Content and Services
The Apps display game information, artwork, and metadata provided by third-party sources including IGDB (Internet Game Database), Steam, and YouTube. This content is the property of its respective owners. We do not claim ownership of third-party content displayed in the Apps.
Your use of third-party content and services accessed through the Apps is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content provided by third-party services.
User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create within the Apps, including game reviews, ratings, strategies, and collection data. By using the Apps, you acknowledge that this content is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud container, and is not shared with us or other users.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, and functionality of the Apps — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are the property of Hot Avocado Apps and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Apps without our express written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Apps are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Game metadata, ratings, and other information provided by third-party sources may be inaccurate or incomplete.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hot Avocado Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Apps, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of access to premium features, or reliance on third-party content.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Apps at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Apps ceases immediately. Active subscriptions are subject to Apple’s refund policies.
Apple's Standard EULA
Your use of the Apps is also subject to the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Apps shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Apps after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
